Alberto Zaffaroni is a Consultant at CEG Europe and is based in the Milan office where he works on damages, network industries regulatory matters and competition cases.
He has provided economic advice in competition public and private enforcement in a wide range of sectors, including food retailing, automotive, energy markets, packaging, personal care, electronics and biotechnology.
Prior to joining CEG, Alberto was a consultant in a Brussels based specialised competition consulting firm. As a trainee, he worked at DG Comp in the unit for mergers in the basic industries, agriculture and manufacturing sectors.
Alberto holds an MSc and BA , both awarded with Summa cum laude honours, in Economic and Social Sciences from Bocconi University of Milan, Italy. He also held visiting student positions at University College of Dublin in Ireland and Boston University in the USA . He focused his postgraduate studies on econometrics, industrial and energy economics, with particular focus on gas storing efficiency.
He is fluent in Italian, English and has a working knowledge of French.
