Carina Lange is a Senior Consultant with CEG Europe, based in the Netherlands. She is an economist with many years of experience advising on: state aid design and disputes; competition economics; regulatory and economic analysis; and market and strategic analysis.

Carina has successfully managed large and complex projects in these areas for both public bodies and private companies. She has worked in many countries and industries with a focus on European jurisdiction issues and regulated industries. Carina has worked as economic and strategic advisor for clients in energy markets, waste-to-energy, communications industries and the healthcare sector.

Prior to joining CEG, Carina was an economics consultant in a strategy and economics practice in a large consultancy firm in the Netherlands, where she applied economics to client issues and managed projects for domestic and overseas clients.  She had a key role as expert on state aid and competition economics projects and was a strategic adviser to clients in international waste markets and other regulated industries.

Before moving to the Netherlands, Carina worked as an economist for CEG and another economics consultancy in London. She holds a M.Sc. and B.Sc. in Economics from Maastricht University in the Netherlands, which she both graduated with distinction.

Carina is fluent in Dutch and English and her mother tongue is German.
