Laura is an Associate at CEG Europe, based in the London office, where she focuses focus is on competition and regulatory cases.

Recently, as input to a cartel damages case, Laura analysed client data, developed requests for further information, and conducted volume of commerce calculations. Laura also assisted in a financial sector litigation case which involved a review of the relevant literature and an assessment of key market features as input to identifying competition issues. On regulatory matters, Laura conducted statistical model reviews (for French speaking countries) as input to a telecommunications matter on behalf of an incumbent operator.

Prior to joining CEG, she was a Teaching Fellow at the University of Warwick’s economics department, where her roles included lecturer and a researcher for the Warwick Policy Lab. At the Lab, she gained substantial experience in data and policy analysis, including a study of the effects of social norms on investors’ behaviour during the recent financial crisis. Using multiple statistical software packages, she identified statistically significant changes in behaviour and conducted a portfolio analysis of the effect of the crisis on stock returns.

Laura holds a BSc in Economics from the University of Essex and an MSc in Economics and International Financial Economics from the University of Warwick (with a focus on econometrics, financial economics and money markets).

She is a native French speaker, and is fluent in English.
