CEG expert Dr Barbara Veronese joined panellists to discuss innovation, competition and big data at the premises of the Italian Attorney General

On November 29th the Italian  Attorney General hosted a discussion of the role of big data in regulatory enforcement, innovation, fairness, privacy and contract enforcement. The conference, organised by Intesa Sanpaolo bank, enabled discussion on a number of data related issues by government, academia, competition enforcers, regulators, practitioners and economists.

CEG expert Dr Barbara Veronese discussed the economic benefits and potential areas of concerns linked to the growing ability to process large datasets quickly using refined automated "learning" strategies.
