Robert is an Associate Director at CEG Europe and is based in The Hague office. He has worked on a wide range of competition cases across different industries including pharmaceuticals, insurance brokerage, digital markets, and retailing. In addition, Robert has experience in data analytics and science and has applied this in various areas including cartel screening and topic modelling of qualitative evidence.
Prior to joining CEG, Robert worked for the Swedish Competition Authority where he contributed to cartel cases, merger investigations including key roles in merger proceedings such as Karo Pharma/Trimb Holdings. In addition, Robert contributed to and led projects within the areas of data science and IT forensics.
Robert holds a Master’s degree from the University of Gothenburg in Economics specialising in applied microeconomics and econometrics. He speaks fluent English and Swedish.
Recent work
Currently, Robert is involved in a number of proposed opt-in and opt-out collective class actions before the UK Competition Appeals Tribunal and Dutch courts including potential opt-in and opt-out interchange fee collective actions against Mastercard and Visa.
